A check for anomalies
The 13-week scan is performed between 12+3 and 14+3 weeks of pregnancy. During this scan, fetal growth and potential abnormalities are assessed at an early stage.
Nuchal thickness measurement is included alongside growth and organ assessment. No gender determination is made at this scan.
